There is something about waking up early. The positive energy it brings sets the mood for the rest of the day. Today I woke up at 4 AM. It is not that I had a choice. I was already awake due to insomnia by 3 AM. I couldn’t twist and turn in bed anymore. So, I woke up to pray and do my devotional. I usually do this between 4:30 AM and 6:30 AM.
Pro-tip – whenever you have insomnia, wake up and do something meaningful. Sleep will catch up with you later.
After my devotional, I looked outside and marvelled at the beautiful sunrise. The yellow sun rays peeking its golden rays through the dark grey clouds. Marvellous!
Pro-tip: Make it a habit to stare outside your window during sunrise. I promise you it will add positive energy to your day.
The morning chill makes me alert in the morning. It signals to my body freshness.
Pro-tip: Step outside or open your curtains for a few minutes and savour the morning chill.
With the feel-good factor in, seize the day by working on something productive. For me, mornings are full of energy with high levels of concentration. I achieve a lot. Furthermore, I can deal with complex tasks with ease. Learning is also a big part of my morning routine.
I am in the mood to go on and on. But for today, I’ll stop there so that I can hop onto other tasks. But before I go, I want to clarify that morning routine may not be everyone’s cup of tea. I’ll add, chances are you will not be upbeat every day. Somedays, you will struggle and snooze!
I’ll leave it at that. Have a great day. Won’t you?
